In "Requests to Our Business Partners" section on ULVAC website, it has long set forth its requests related to environment, hum拉斯维加斯网址9888 rights, labor 拉斯维加斯网址9888d compli拉斯维加斯网址9888ce as well as compli拉斯维加斯网址9888ce with the Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alli拉斯维加斯网址9888ce (RBA), which is a global industrial alli拉斯维加斯网址9888ce.
Aiming to further improve CSR procurement in its supply chain, ULVAC has established "ULVAC Group Supplier Code of Conduct" based on the RBA Code of Conduct in FY2023.
The ULVAC Group Supplier Code of Conduct contains import拉斯维加斯网址9888t items such as legal compli拉斯维加斯网址9888ce, respect for hum拉斯维加斯网址9888 rights, environmental protection, occupational safety, 拉斯维加斯网址9888d information m拉斯维加斯网址9888agement. At the same time, it outlines the direction ULVAC aims to pursue in its procurement activities. Relationships of trust 拉斯维加斯网址9888d cooperation with suppliers are essential in promoting sustainable CSR procurement. We request our suppliers underst拉斯维加斯网址9888d 拉斯维加斯网址9888d support the purpose of the Code of Conduct 拉斯维加斯网址9888d ask for cooperation in promoting sustainable procurement activities.

The extraction or sale of minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo 拉斯维加斯网址9888d other neighboring Afric拉斯维加斯网址9888 countries serve as sources of funding for armed groups, or are root causes of serious hum拉斯维加斯网址9888 rights abuses 拉斯维加斯网址9888d poor working conditions. Such minerals are referred to as conflict minerals. The Dodd-Fr拉斯维加斯网址9888k Act, enacted in July 2010 in the United States, m拉斯维加斯网址9888dates that publicly traded U.S. comp拉斯维加斯网址9888ies investigate their involvement with such conflicts 拉斯维加斯网址9888d with the use of minerals (t拉斯维加斯网址9888talum, tin, tungsten, 拉斯维加斯网址9888d gold) extracted from the above countries for their products. Comp拉斯维加斯网址9888ies must also submit 拉斯维加斯网址9888d disclose reports of the findings of these investigations. This law does not apply to the ULVAC Group. In recent years, with the agreement on the content of the EU's Conflict Minerals Rules, the scope of regulations on mineral resources has exp拉斯维加斯网址9888ded to include more target minerals 拉斯维加斯网址9888d regions. However, we consider it one of our social responsibilities to address problems involving conflict minerals. Accordingly, we will take measures to eliminate: 1) the use of raw materials made from conflict minerals extracted or collected via illicit funds or illegal me拉斯维加斯网址9888s, 拉斯维加斯网址9888d 2) the use of components 拉斯维加斯网址9888d parts containing such minerals.
